JAMESTOWN, N.D. - Four people were injured early Saturday in two separate crashes after drivers lost control on black ice on Interstate 94, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
One crash occurred at 2:27 a.m. about 40 miles west of Jamestown. Jennifer Maul, 50, of Watford City, had stopped at a rest area and was just getting back up to highway speed when she encountered black ice on a railroad overpass, the Highway Patrol said.
The vehicle entered the ditch where it overturned and came to rest on the driver's side.
Maul and two passengers, Ahna Klassen, 14, of Watford City, and Conner Maul, 8, were taken to Jamestown Regional Medical Center with injuries, the Highway Patrol said.
All three were treated and released.

In the other incident, Lynette Rodriguez, 38, of Valley City, was eastbound on I-94 about two miles west of Valley City when she went across black ice on a railroad overpass, according to the Highway Patrol.
After fishtailing, the vehicle caught dry pavement and shot into the ditch and overturned.
Rodriguez was extracted from the vehicle and taken to Mercy Hospital in Valley City, the Highway Patrol said. No information about her condition was available.
Both crashes remain under investigation.
