FARGO - BNSF Railway will replace a portion of its railroad bridge between Fargo and Moorhead during a five-day around-the-clock construction project beginning Wednesday.
The railroad bridge is located between the Main Avenue and NP/Center Avenue roadway bridges over the Red River.
Significant noise will occur and lights will be set up for nighttime operations. Train horns must be sounded even in quiet zones when construction workers or others are near the tracks, as required by the Federal Railroad Administration.
Work is expected to be complete Sept. 8.
