Boat access to the Red River will be limited during demolition and construction of the Main Avenue bridge linking Fargo and Moorhead.
The bridge is expected to close Thursday and remain closed until November 2004.
For safety reasons, the area under the bridge will be closed to boaters.
Boats, canoes and kayaks may access the river north of Main Avenue at the First Avenue North bridge in Moorhead, and south of Main Avenue at the boat ramp north of the Midtown Dam.
