FARGO — The man who was found dead outside a business on 3151 Main Ave. on Monday, Jan. 27, has been identified as Wesley Gordon Gunhammer Jr., 30, of Fargo, according to a statement from the Fargo Police Department.
Authorities responded to the parking lot of Accent Flooring & Tile at 3:40 p.m. on Monday, where Gunhammer Jr.'s body was found between a box truck and pickup truck.
Police say the death doesn't appear suspicious, and it's too early to tell if cold weather caused his death. Authorities will be conducting an autopsy.
Police don't believe Gunhammer was living behind the business but still ask property owners to keep an eye out for people possibly seeking shelter and to contact police if that happens.
