The Red River Valley Regional Bomb Squad used its robot to destroy a suspicious package found Thursday with a blast of water.
Authorities were called to the Fargo Armed Forces Reserve Center about 10:30 a.m. after a package with suspicious markings was discovered.
The package, which came in the mail, was destroyed by the bomb squad, said Amy Wieser Willson, deputy public information officer for the North Dakota Guard Joint Force Headquarters.
"It wasn't anything of danger," she said.
Part of the building was cordoned off for a short period of time as authorities dealt with the package, but the incident did not cause any problems, Wieser Willson said.
