Breckenridge man indicted on murder of a toddler

BRECKENRIDGE, Minn. (AP) - A grand jury in Breckenridge has indicted a 22-year-old man on charges of first-degree murder in the beating death of a 19-month-old child.

BRECKENRIDGE, Minn. (AP) - A grand jury in Breckenridge has indicted a 22-year-old man on charges of first-degree murder in the beating death of a 19-month-old child.

Daniel Anderson pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was being held Thursday in Wilkin County Jail in lieu of $2 million dollars bond.

The boy, who was from Hankinson, N.D, was the son of Anderson's girlfriend. An autopsy determined he died of blunt force head trauma.
