MELROSE, Minn.-Minnesota State Patrol officials have released the details of a Friday afternoon traffic incident involving a semi truck on Interstate 94 in Stearns County.

"A semi was traveling east on I-94 when it veered into the median ditch where it struck the cable barrier and rolled," an incident report states. "The semi came to rest with the trailer blocking both of the westbound lanes."

The driver, 59-year-old Paul Francis Rivers of Breckenridge, was transferred to Melrose Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the report states. He was wearing his seat belt.
