WILLISTON, N.D. -- The state Transportation Department says construction is nearing completion on a temporary bypass northwest of Williston.

Officials have pegged the project at $10 million and say it's aimed at alleviated truck traffic through the busy oil boom town.

Officials say the construction should be completed in early August.
