The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers for its Road to Recovery, Reach to Recovery and Look Good ... Feel Better programs.
Road to Recovery matches cancer patients with volunteers willing to drive them to and from their treatments. Drivers are asked to volunteer for one trip per month but can take as many as they wish.
Reach to Recovery is a program where volunteer breast cancer survivors provide one-on-one support and information to help women cope with their diagnosis of breast cancer. The specially trained breast cancer survivors meet with the women in person or over the phone.
To volunteer for any of the American Cancer Society programs, call (701) 232-1385, option 3.
