The city of Fargo will host a special "Help Fill the Bin" recycling event from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the northwest Fargodome parking lot as part of the "Cans for Cash" recycling program.

Residents are encouraged to bring their aluminum cans to the dome to be recycled. Proceeds will benefit the "Got No Milk" program, which helps provide morning milk for low-income elementary children.

For those who cannot attend, cans may be recycled through Oct. 31 at area drop-off sites, through Fargo's curbside recycling program, or by getting cash for them at Minnkota Recycling and donating the proceeds.
