HILLSBORO, N.D. -- A car-motorcycle collision in Traill County has killed the motorcycle driver, the Highway Patrol says.

He was identified Monday as Harold Thompson, 39, of Hunter.

The patrol said the motorcycle was going south on a township road when it struck a car driven by Daniel Clark, 35, of Mandan, about three miles west of Interstate 29.

The crash happened about 2:45 p.m. Sunday, the patrol said. Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Clark and two passengers, Karla Clark, 34, and Joshua Clark, 2, were taken to the hospital in Hillsboro. The patrol said Daniel and Joshua Clark were treated and released and Karla Clark was transferred to Fargo for treatment of a leg injury.
