FARGO - A safety seminar designed to check how well older drivers and their vehicles work together is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 17 at Essentia Health-South University, 1702 South University Drive.
Volunteers from Essentia Health, AAA and Sanford Health will complete a 12-point checklist with each driver.
Among the items checked are:
- Correct position of driver's seat.
- Driver's ability to easily reach pedals.

- Proper adjustment of mirrors.
- Familiarity with vehicle controls.
