AAA North Dakota and MeritCare Health Systems will host a free CarFit event from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at MeritCare Southpointe in Fargo.
The event is for drivers 65 and older. It teaches seniors how the effects of aging change the way they fit their vehicle, how driving can be affected and suggests ways to compensate for the changes.
During a 20-minute appointment, volunteers lead senior drivers through a 12-point checklist with their vehicle and recommend adjustments.
