Cass County will spray the Fargo area for mosquito control next week.
The Cass County Vector Control District will spray Fargo, West Fargo, Harwood, Heritage Hills Subdivision and Highland Park Subdivision from 8 p.m. to midnight on Monday and Tuesday.
The locations were chosen based on contracts with each community.
The insecticides are non-toxic for humans and pets, although it's toxic for bees. County workers will stop spraying if they see residents and pets outdoors. If you come in direct contact with the insecticides, wash thoroughly with soap and water as a precaution.
