Cass County has begun spraying for noxious weeds in road rights of way, and property owners are being asked to wait several days after spraying has taken place before mowing ditches.
The delay will allow the herbicide to attack weeds, county officials said.
Landowners may call the county weed control office to report weeds, or to find out if spraying activities have taken place in their area.

The weed spraying is being done by two commercial applicators: J&J Spraying of Alvarado, Minn., and Walker's Lawncare of Larimore, N.D.
