The Casselton (N.D.) Chili Feed will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, at Central Cass School, Casselton.
Two area groups will provide music: the Goshen Moravian men's group, led by David Piper and accompanied by Pearl Radloff; and Faith to the Bones, a trombone quartet of Ken Christianson, Tom Whaley, Ryan Buss and John Paulson, directed by Glenn Whaley and accompanied by Jane Paulson.
The chili feed is free and sponsored by the Casselton Volunteer Ambulance, Casselton Volunteer Fire Department, Casselton Youth Task Force/Generations Connecting Project, Vets Inc., and the Cass County Sheriff's Department, Casselton division.
Donations will be taken for the meal and entertainment. Proceeds will be used to send care packages to local military personnel serving in Iraq and abroad this holiday season, and to sick and homeless veterans.
