Vice President Dick Cheney will attend a town hall meeting in Moorhead Monday, the Republican National Committee announced late this afternoon.
WDAY-AM Hot Talk host Scott Hennen will emcee the Town Hall Meeting.
Hennen said an advance team is scouting out venues for the event. No time for the town hall meeting has been set, he said. Ticketing for the event must also be determined, he said.
Minnesota has been a battleground state in the run-up to this year's Nov. 2 election, with President Bush, Cheney, and Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry and his running mate Sen. John Edwards making several appearances each around the state.
Among his appearances, Cheney spoke at an invitation-only town hall meeting at the Cabela's sporting goods store in East Grand Forks, Minn., Aug. 6.
