Cher's "Living Proof" farewell tour has been extended and will include a concert at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks on Saturday, Sept. 28.

After a week of rumors, Jeff Kossow, executive director of the Alerus, has confirmed Cher's Grand Forks concert.

"This is Cher's last tour and we are thrilled to be able to get it," Kossow said. "This will be her first show in the area and we are excited to be working with her."

The 56-year-old singer has said she will quit touring to devote more time to her acting.
