Clay County squad cars get defibrillators

The Clay County Sheriff's Office has been awarded a grant from the Dakota Medical Foundation to provide the patrol division with seven new Philips Heartstart Automated External Defibrillators worth more than $16,000.

Clay County patrol deputies have undergone training on using the devices and have taken a refresher course in CPR.
