Combined choirs to present cantata

The combined choirs of Bethesda and St. John Lutheran churches will present "Praise the God of Resurrection," a sacred cantata, at each church on Sunday.

The combined choirs of Bethesda and St. John Lutheran churches will present "Praise the God of Resurrection," a sacred cantata, at each church on Sunday.

The first performance will be at 8:45 a.m. at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 401 40th Ave. S., Moorhead. The second is at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, 1710 5th St. S., Fargo.

The cantata features music by Mark Hayes, Lloyd Larson, Joseph M. Martin and Ruth Elaine Schram. The combined choir and orchestra are co-directed by Sally Harmon and Dawn Papenfuss, choir directors of the two churches.

Child care will be provided, and there will be refreshments served following each service.
