The Concordia College Board of Regents recently approved 11 faculty members for promotion and/or tenure.
John A. Flaspohler, Stewart W. Herman, Linda M. Scott and James Specht have been granted tenure.
Flaspohler, assistant professor, biology, received his doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Herman, assistant professor, religion, received his doctorate from the University of Chicago Divinity School. Scott, associate professor, nursing, received her doctorate from the University of South Dakota. Specht, associate professor, Business, Accounting and Economics, received his doctorate from Georgia State University.
Mona M. Ibrahim, Polly K. Kloster and Donald A. Krogstad have been granted tenure and were also promoted to associate professor. Ibrahim, psychology, received her doctorate from Michigan State University; Kloster, nursing, received her doctorate from Oregon Health Sciences University; and Krogstad, chemistry, received his doctorate from the University of Minnesota.
Francisco L. Cabello, Spanish, and David A. Sprunger, English, were promoted to full professor. Cabello received his doctorate from the University of California at Davis, and Sprunger received his doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Peter D. Halverson, music, was promoted to associate professor and Susan J. Cordes Green, psychology, was promoted to assistant professor. Halverson received his master's degree from the University of Wisconsin and Cordes Green received her doctorate from North Dakota State University.
