Concordia homecoming welcomes alumni

Concordia College will welcome alumni back to campus during homecoming events Tuesday through Oct. 12.

Concordia College will welcome alumni back to campus during homecoming events Tuesday through Oct. 12.

"Memories Together Cobbers Forever" invites alumni to join current students, faculty, staff and friends to celebrate the Cobber tradition at the following events:

- Tuesday: coronation, 7 p.m., Memorial Auditorium.

- Wednesday: homecoming communion, 10 a.m., Centrum, Knutson Campus Center.

- Thursday: Frosh Frolics, 7 p.m., Olson Forum; bonfire and fireworks, 8:45 p.m., Jake Christiansen Stadium.

- Friday: homecoming chapel, 9:20 a.m., Centrum; homecoming banquet, 6:30 p.m., Memorial Auditorium; Harvest Ball, 9:30 p.m., Olson Forum.

- Saturday: Cobber Fun Run, 9 a.m., south of Memorial Auditorium; homecoming parade, 11 a.m., south on Eighth Street to Jake Christiansen Stadium; football vs. St. Thomas, 1 p.m., Jake Christiansen Stadium; women's soccer vs. Hamline, 1 p.m., and men's Soccer vs. Hamline, 3 p.m., Concordia soccer fields; athletic hall of fame banquet, 5 p.m., Centrum; homecoming concert, 6:30 p.m., Memorial Auditorium.

- Oct. 12: all campus worship, 10:30 a.m., Memorial Auditorium, followed by the Knutson Campus Center dedication and reception.
