Concordia receives $500,000 NSF grant

Concordia College has received nearly $500,000 from the National Science Foundation to help increase the number of college graduates in science, technology, engineering and math areas.

Concordia College has received nearly $500,000 from the National Science Foundation to help increase the number of college graduates in science, technology, engineering and math areas.

The grant is from the Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics Talent Expansion Program.

It will allow Concordia to implement new student-focused instruction methods and research opportunities for first-year students. The funding also will create a course to expose science and math students to the careers available.
