Consortium receives $23,000 grant

The Minnesota Consortium for Advanced Psychology Training received a $23,000 planning grant from the Minnesota Department of Health's Office of Rural Health and Primary Care.

The Minnesota Consortium for Advanced Psychology Training received a $23,000 planning grant from the Minnesota Department of Health's Office of Rural Health and Primary Care.

The money will be used to develop curriculum for a post-doctoral training program in rural psychology, using a training strategy that enhances the supply and effectiveness of mental health providers in rural areas.The curriculum will be the basis for an application for a federal grant from Health and Human Services this fall.
