BISMARCK — Following are the North Dakota Department of Health COVID-19 case rates, deaths, hospitalizations and vaccinations as of Monday, April 19. Because all data is preliminary, some numbers and totals may change from one day to the next.

Statewide case rates

  • NEW CASES: 51
  • TOTAL ACTIVE CASES: 1,004
  • TOTAL CASES: 105,805
  • TOTAL RECOVERED: 103,322
  • DAILY TEST POSITIVITY RATE: 6.01%

North Dakota's active case count decreased by 55 on Monday. Cass County reported 13 positive cases, while Burleigh County reported six additional positive cases.

The North Dakota Department of Health on Monday reported the death of a Burleigh County man in his 80s.

Vaccinations

  • FIRST DOSE ADMINISTERED: 268,938 (46% of population)

  • COMPLETED SERIES (Two doses): 219,108 (37.4% of population)

A total of 504,929 shots have been administered to North Dakotans. The Department of Health urges residents to seek more information at www.health.nd.gov/covidvaccinelocator.
