Crookston man faces charges for allegedly sexually assaulting minor

CROOKSTON, Minn. – A Crookston man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor.

Enriques Schehr, 34, is charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child under the age of 13.

Police arrested Schehr on Jan. 11 after he called and met with law enforcement officials at the Polk County Sheriff's Office to turn himself in around 6:45 a.m. The criminal complaint was filed July 6.

Schehr has since posted bond. If convicted, he could face up 30 years in prison.
