Some Qwest customers were without phone service for nearly five hours Tuesday after a construction crew accidentally cut a phone cable.
Crews working on the Eagle Run development in West Fargo cut the cable Tuesday morning, said general superintendent Duane Baumgart.
Qwest officials were notified that service was down at 10:36 a.m. Repair was completed by 3 p.m., said Cyndi Barrington, spokeswoman for Qwest.
Master Construction of Fargo was working in the area and cut a cable, causing the outage, Barrington said. She didn't how many customers were affected.
