A three-year starter and the school's all-time rushing leader, Sandness rushed for 1,688 yards and 25 TDs on 206 carries as a senior. He also returned a punt for a TD, helping the Loboes to the Class 1A state title game. "Just an impact player for us," said coach Greg Hermes. "He was a hard-nosed runner."
