DETROIT LAKES, Minn. - The Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center has received a $297,600 grant.
Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minn., said in a press release the money will be used to fund the Youth Fit for Life program to help educate area youth on nutrition and fitness education.
The funding is from the Department of Education's Funds for the Improvement of Education Earmark Grant Awards program.
