Dickinson man dies from injuries in rollover accident

DICKINSON, N.D. - A 29-year-old Dickinson man died in a rollover accident Monday but his passenger was not injured, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

DICKINSON, N.D. - A 29-year-old Dickinson man died in a rollover accident Monday but his passenger was not injured, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The vehicle was northbound on Highway 22 at about 9:18 p.m., about four miles south of Mandaree, when the driver lost control while negotiating a curve.

The vehicle began to slide and entered the west ditch where it rolled over one and a half times, coming to a stop in the ditch on its top. The driver was partially ejected and died at the scene.

The passenger, identified as 24-year-old Tyler Rice of Dickinson, was reported to be unharmed.

Both men were reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
