Sen. Judy Lee and Reps. Kim Koppelman and Alon Wieland were endorsed as the Republican candidates from West Fargo's District 13 for the state Legislature at the district's convention Tuesday.
Lee was first elected in 1992. She is chairwoman of the Human Services Committee and has served on several others, including the Political Subdivisions Committee. She has worked for several years as a real estate broker.
Koppelman, also first elected in 1992, is chairman of the Constitutional Revision Committee, vice chairman of the Administrative Rules Committee, and serves on several others. He owns Koppelman & Associates, an advertising, marketing and public relations agency.
Wieland was first elected in 2002. He serves on the Human Resources Division of the Appropriations Committee as well as other interim committees. He is retired from working in real estate and appraisals.
