OXBOW, N.D. – The Fargo-Moorhead Diversion Authority is asking a judge to reconsider his order to stop construction on the Oxbow ring levee.

The judge made the order last week saying construction cannot continue until a DNR environmental impact study has been completed.

The diversion authority says the DNR had given them approval to build a levee up to the 100-year level even before that study is complete.

The judge is expected to make a decision in the coming weeks.
