Grocery shoppers will be able to help the hungry during July on their regular trip to the supermarket.
All Cash Wise, Hornbacher's and Sunmart Foods stores in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo will have donation tags available to customers.
Donation tags are scanned by a cashier like any other purchase. Customers are able to indicate how much they wish to donate, and that amount is added to the grocery bill.
Donations will benefit Daily Bread, which collects and distributes food to the area emergency shelters, food pantries and soup kitchens. Last year more than 15,000 people were served through Daily Bread.
