Downtown Fargo street traffic affected by water service line repairs

FARGO - Traffic on two downtown Fargo roads have been narrowed today to accommodate repair of water service lines.

The city issued a news release at 9:33 a.m. to inform motorists that NP and First avenues would see reduced lanes starting at 8 a.m.

The city reduced westbound traffic on NP Avenue, between Third and Fourth streets. In addition, traffic has been reduced to two lanes on First Avenue North between Fifth Street and Broadway.

Both repair projects are expected to last one day, according to the news release.
