Dr. Brothers to speak in Fargo

Dr. Joyce Brothers will be in Fargo on Thursday as the keynote speaker at The God's Child Project's 15th anniversary dinner.

The event will be held at the Ramada Plaza Suites, with a social at 6 p.m. and dinner at7 p.m. A question-and-answer session will follow Brothers' presentation.

Brothers is a regular columnist for Reader's Digest and Good Housekeeping and an NBC Radio Network personality. For 30 years, she has been the dean of American Psychologists.

The Bismarck-based God's Child Project was founded in 1991 to help orphaned children from poverty-stricken Guatemala. It includes a network of clinics, schools, nutrition sites, foster homes and community development centers.

Tickets are $50, and available at all Hornbacher's locations through Wednesday.
