GLYNDON, Minn. - Stacie Drechsel struck out 10 batters as Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton shut out Pelican Rapids 7-0 Thursday for the Minnesota Class 2A, Section 8 subsection softball championship.
Drechsel also had two hits while teammate Kayla Bergee had three hits.
D-G-F, 13-7, advances as the subsection's top seed to next Tuesday's Class 2A, Section 8 tournament in Frazee. Pelican Rapids advances as the No. 2 seed.
