The driver of a minivan died in a head-on collision Sunday with a semitruck hauling grain on Highway 75 south of Breckenridge, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
The driver of the van was dead at the scene. He was identified as being a 74-year-old from Wahpeton, N.D., but his name was not released by the patrol.
The driver of the semi was identified as Aaron J. Marquez, 18, of Edcouch, Texas. He did not appear injured, the patrol reported.
According to the patrol, the minivan crossed into the opposite lane and hit the semi; however, the patrol report had no information on which direction either vehicle was traveling.
