WALKER, Minn. - A driver of a car that was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane died from injuries in a head-on collision Sunday afternoon with a semi-truck.
The victim's identity will be released Monday by the Minnesota State Patrol.
The accident happened on Highway 34 west of Walker.
Bernard P. Dahlvang, 56, of Wadena, Minn., the driver of the truck, and truck passenger Steven R. Dahlvang, 32, Verndale, Minn., were not injured, according to the Minnesota Highway Patrol report.
Assisting in the accident were Akeley, Minn., police as well as Cass and Hubbard county deputies. The accident remains under investigation.
