Driver seriously injured in Otter Tail accident

OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. - A driver suffered serious head, chest, abdominal and lower extremity injuries Saturday after an accident in Otter Tail County.

OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. - A driver suffered serious head, chest, abdominal and lower extremity injuries Saturday after an accident in Otter Tail County.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office would not release any information on the driver.

According to a report from the sheriff's office, the driver was headed eastbound in the westbound lane of County Highway 56 when the vehicle missed a curve, left the road, struck an embankment and then a tree.

The driver was taken to Tri-County Hospital.

The vehicle, a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 pickup, was totaled.
