A fire that started in a Dumpster Saturday spread to a garage, causing moderate damage.
Firefighters were called to 383 Prairiewood Circle, Fargo, shortly before noon Saturday.
The trash bin was against the end of a row of garages in an apartment complex. The fire had melted the vinyl siding and had burned through the underlying sheeting when firefighters arrived on the scene.
The fire was quickly extinguished and was confined to the trash bin and the exterior of the garage.
The Fargo Fire Department estimated damage at $2,000.
