Edgewood Management Group has named Gene Hysjulien vice president of operations for Region I, which in-cludes five Edgewood Vista senior living communities and three Edgewood Village senior living neighborhoods in Bismarck, Minot, N.D., Fargo and Spearfish, S.D.
Hysjulien has served as EMG's president and chief executive officer since 2006.
A graduate of Minot (N.D.) State University and the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Hysjulien has more than 37 years of health care experience and has held administrative positions in both public and private industry, including St. Joseph's Hospital, Dickinson, N.D., and St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck.
He also served as North Dakota director of disability services.
