Effort aims to make Moorhead healthier

The city of Moorhead, Fargo-Moorhead Metro COG and Clay County Public Health have formed a partnership called Active in Moorhead, which aims to explore ways to make Moorhead a more active and healthier place to live.

The city of Moorhead, Fargo-Moorhead Metro COG and Clay County Public Health have formed a partnership called Active in Moorhead, which aims to explore ways to make Moorhead a more active and healthier place to live.

The partnership will sponsor neighborhood meetings in Moorhead to gain residents' input. Topics will include satisfaction with sidewalks, public transit, aesthetics and safety.

Meetings are scheduled at:

- 5 tonight at the Moorhead Library.

- Noon Saturday at the Hjemkomst Center.

- 5 p.m. Monday at Horizon Middle School.

- 7 p.m. Feb. 5 at S.G. Reinertsen Elementary.
