Cass County Electric Cooperative has announced the availability of rebate dollars for energy-effective products.
The money is available due to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act in which North Dakota received $8.33 million for energy efficiency. The North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives has $2.1 million in consumer rebates to disperse while funds are available.
Cass County Electric Cooperative members can obtain rebates for insulation, heating and cooling and water heating equipment purchased after June 1.
Individuals can qualify for residential rebates up to $5,000. Businesses can apply for rebates up to $15,000.
