A remembrance event to celebrate the life of Minnesota State University Moorhead film studies professor Rusty Casselton is planned for this week.
The event, hosted by the MSUM Cinethusiasts Club, is at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Glasrud Auditorium in Weld Hall.
It will feature stories and presentations and conclude with the screening of one of Casselton's favorite silent films.
Casselton died Dec. 30 at age 51. He established a film studies major at MSUM.
