WILLISTON, N.D. - The former secretary of the Williston Economic Development office is being charged with misapplication of entrusted property.
The Williams County sheriff's office said a warrant has been issued for L. Veronica Williams Heim, 52, who now lives in Milwaukee.
She is accused of using office credit cards for personal use between October 2005 and February of this year. Authorities said the amount charged is between $500 and $1,000.
Heim faces up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine if convicted of the felony charge.
