North Dakota State University President Dean Bresciani has appointed faculty and staff representatives to serve on his Cabinet.
Gary Totten, president-elect of NDSU's faculty senate, and Vance Olson, past president of the staff senate, will serve on the Cabinet this semester.
Totten is an associate professor of English. Olson is an industrial electronics technician in facilities management.
This is the first time faculty and staff have had direct representation on the president's Cabinet. Bresciani appointed the student body president to his Cabinet last semester.
