Neighbors has carried stories about the Fairmont Old Timers, the musical group that performed over WDAY Radio years ago, sponsored by the Fairmont Creamery.
Norma Draack, Frazee, Minn., found this photo of the Old Timers and sent it in. Neighbors is running it for the sake of nostalgia.
Leather and 'Geese'
And now, leather photo albums and the Goose; both create fond memories for Cecelia Larson, Abercrombie, N.D.
A woman had written Neighbors about her mother's leather photo album from the early 1900s; she wondered if other such albums were around.

Cecelia writes that when she read that, "I was surprised to read that there was someone who also had a leather photo album.
"I have a really old one, given to me by an aunt nearly 85 years ago. It's in good condition; has a poem entitled 'Minnesota' on the cover. I treasure it because all my childhood pictures are in it."
Cecelia also writes about other popular subjects for this column: the Galloping Goose branch line trains.
"I am very familiar with the Galloping Goose," she writes. "It was in 1953 to 1955, when it ran from Breckenridge, Minn., to Clitherall, Minn. My husband and I would put our two oldest children on the Goose in Breckenridge, and my parents would meet them at the station in Clitherall.
"Sometimes the youngest child would be asleep and would have to be awakened.
"What memories!
"Please keep the Goose stories coming."
We'll try to keep up with them, Cecelia.
