The North Dakota Family Alliance has a new association with Focus on the Family, a nonprofit evangelical organization founded by James Dobson.
North Dakota is the 36th state in Focus on the Family's network of family policy councils.
The Family Association, which has 2,200 members, says the new relationship will boost efforts "to enact family-friendly public policy by allowing NDFA to tap into Focus' nationally recognized experts and resources." Its Web site is www.ndfa.org .
