Fargo's Hector International Airport set another record last year for passenger traffic, breaking the previous record set in 2009.
Total passenger traffic of 724,941 marked a 3.9 percent increase over 2009, according to airport Executive Director Shawn Dobberstein.
Enplanements, or boardings, totaled 363,138, a 4.1 percent increase over 2009, while deplanements increased 3.7 percent.
It was the airport's third consecutive record year.
Last month also was the second-busiest December in Hector's history, despite being cut short by back-to-back New Year's storms that canceled almost two days of flights during a busy holiday weekend, Dobberstein stated in a news release.

Passenger traffic was down 0.3 percent in December compared with December 2009.
The monthly and annual stats don't include charter plane passengers, such as the North Dakota State University football team and Sun Country and Allegiant Air charters to Laughlin and Reno, Nev.
