Fargo couple Todd and Stacie Folmer experienced double the luck Saturday, after finding two Forum "treasure tokens" in the early morning in down-town Fargo.
The tokens, each worth $500, won the Folmers a grand total of $1,000.
Todd Folmer says he and his wife got up in the middle of the night to get a fresh-off-the-presses Forum at 2 a.m. so they could find Saturday's clue. They knew no one had found Friday's token yet, so decided to look for both of them.
They, along with "15 to 30" others, combed Broadway Saturday morning in search of the black, plastic tokens.
After reviewing the new clue for Friday's token - "Train your eye on the clock/Tick tock, tick tock/Look down and all around/This token can be found" - they made a bee-line for the former Great Northern Depot, which prominently displays a clock tower, at 425 Broadway.

As other treasure hunters searched the metal fences on the west side of the depot in search of a token, the Folmers struck black, plastic gold. They found the magnetized token sticking to the bottom railing of a black, metal fence just north of Bison Apartments (formerly the Bison Hotel), 413 Broad-way.
The couple then walked the downtown section of Broadway in search of the token that matched Saturday's clue: "The token hunt is almost done/But please don't be sad/Just think of what you would do if you won/$500 thrown your way isn't bad."
They figured the "thrown your way" probably meant the token was hidden on a garbage can, Todd says. Both husband and wife spotted the second token at the same time - sticking partly out from beneath a metal garbage can outside of Schumacher Goodyear at 409 Broadway.
"It was just weird," Todd says. "That second one was pure luck."
Todd, a 32-year-old general contractor, and Stacie, a 29-year-old employee at US Bank, may use the money to celebrate their one-year anniversary Sept. 26. One possibility: a trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota.
